Closing, moving or downsizing an Albuquerque business, office, studio or shop — and the space has to be empty by the lease-out? Abq Reclaimed picks up the resale-worthy equipment free, by request — tools, computers, shop and restaurant equipment, fixtures and lighting, small machinery, vintage steel office furniture, flat files and drafting tables, print-shop presses and type cabinets; heavy pieces photo first (a forklift for suitable loads). I don’t buy inventory. Text photos and your lease-out date to (505) 250-3804, and I’ll say honestly whether I can make it.

### Send a photo

[Text a couple photos](sms:+15052503804) to (505) 250-3804 with your neighborhood, or use the [request form](https://abqreclaimed.com/#schedule). Under a minute.

### I confirm what I can take

I review every request myself and reply about what is a fit and whether I can make your date, if you have one. Nothing is promised until I confirm.

### Set it out

On the day we agree on, leave small items on the porch or driveway — you don't need to be home for those. Heavy items, appliances and anything inside need someone there to give me access.

### I haul it free

I pick it up at no cost and give it a second life through resale and reuse.

Lease ending, business closing, or a workspace going remote — and a room full of equipment nobody has time to sell. Send me photos of the whole space.

**Need it out of the way by a date?** Movers, a closing, a lease-out, a unit that’s due — text me photos and the date. I come get the good stuff and tell you who takes the rest, and I’ll say honestly whether I can make your date, take part of it, or point you to a crew that can. [Text me the photos and the date](sms:+15052503804).

## Who this is for

Small shops, offices, studios, salons, gyms, restaurants, repair shops, and hobby businesses winding down — anyone staring at shelves of equipment with a lease deadline. I'm a reseller with a forklift and a trailer, not a liquidator: I take what has a second life, free, and I'm honest about what doesn't. Clearing a home workshop or a storage unit instead? See [garage cleanouts](https://abqreclaimed.com/garage-cleanout-albuquerque) and [storage unit cleanouts](https://abqreclaimed.com/storage-unit-cleanout-albuquerque).

That includes a retiring architect’s or engineer’s office, a print shop, sign shop or bindery, and an old office with a mail room. Schools, libraries and other public offices usually have their own surplus rules — ask your surplus office first; if the old card catalog or flat files are cleared to go, [text me](sms:+15052503804).

It also includes a photo studio, an alterations or upholstery shop, and a church or bar sound system — [cameras, lenses and studio lights](https://abqreclaimed.com/camera-equipment-pickup-albuquerque), [industrial and home sewing machines](https://abqreclaimed.com/sewing-machine-pickup-albuquerque) and [PA, mics and pro audio](https://abqreclaimed.com/stereo-equipment-pickup-albuquerque#pro-audio) are all worth a photo.

## What I'll tell you straight

If a single piece is clearly valuable — a commercial mixer, a CNC tool, a high-end printer — sell it yourself and keep the money; I'll even say which marketplace. Particle-board desks, worn office chairs, and general trash aren't mine, and I'll point you to the right hauler or the City's large-item pickup. What's left in the middle — the useful, sellable, un-glamorous stuff — is exactly what I haul free.

**One person, straight talk.** I'll be upfront about volume and timing — I won't overcommit to a deadline I can't meet. Send wide photos of every room plus your lease-out date, and I'll tell you honestly what I can take and when. Pickup is by request and at my discretion.

**Before you ask — the honest limits.** Abq Reclaimed is just me, and I run a couple of other small businesses. So free pickups are **limited and entirely at my discretion** — I can't take everything, and some weeks I can't do pickups at all. Send a photo and I'll tell you honestly whether I can fit it in; if I can't, I'll point you elsewhere. (Prefer to drop off? We can sometimes arrange that by appointment.) When I do collect, I send you a [Reclaim Receipt](https://abqreclaimed.com/reclaim-receipt) afterward telling you where your stuff went.

## Common questions

### What do I do with office equipment when closing a business in Albuquerque?

Computers, networking gear, shop, studio and restaurant equipment, tools and fixtures with resale value: I pick them up free, by request — text photos and your lease-out date to (505) 250-3804. Usable office furniture can go to Habitat ReStore, which picks up large donations ((505) 265-0057; not particle board or cubicles — call to confirm what they take). Particle-board desks, worn chairs and trash need a paid hauler. Vintage steel desks, filing cabinets and drafting tables are a different story — send me a photo.

### Do you buy business equipment or pay for inventory?

No — this is free removal, not a buy service. If something is clearly valuable, sell it yourself and keep the money; I will tell you which marketplace fits. What I offer is a free, honest clear-out of the resale-worthy middle, with a Reclaim Receipt showing where it went.

### Can you clear an office by our lease-out date?

Tell me the date and send photos of every room. I am one person, so I will answer honestly whether I can take it all, part of it, or point you to a bigger crew. I would rather say no early than miss your deadline.

### What about computers with company data?

Pull the drives or wipe them before pickup if you have a policy — or tell me and I will pull and return the drives to you. I recover value from the machines either way, working or not.

### Do you take restaurant or salon equipment?

Yes, by request — from smallwares and small appliances to heavier equipment (heavy pieces are photo first — a forklift for suitable loads; see the industrial equipment page). Refrigeration with refrigerant is case by case and handled legally.

### Is any of this tax-deductible?

No — Abq Reclaimed is a for-profit reuse business, not a 501(c)(3), so pickups are not tax-deductible. You get a Reclaim Receipt (where it went), not a tax receipt.

## Got something worth a second life?

Send a couple photos and I will tell you honestly if it is a fit. Free pickup across Albuquerque, by approval.
