- Rained-on, moldy or smoke-soaked speakers.

## What to photograph

1. The front panel and the back label (model and serial).
2. The speaker badges — and the grilles off, if they come off easily.
3. The turntable’s platter, tonearm and cartridge.
4. A reel-to-reel’s head block and the reel size it takes.
5. The printing on the tubes.
6. Tell me what it does — hums, one channel, nothing.
