Moving soon? Declutter your clothes first

Every box you don't pack is a box you don't move. Start with the closet — here's the checklist.

Moving is the single best time to get honest about your wardrobe. You're already touching every item you own, and every bag you let go of is one you don't have to pack, haul, and unpack. Here's a fast, low-stress way to lighten the load before moving day.

Why clothes first

Clothing is heavy, bulky, and easy to over-keep. A pre-move purge shrinks your box count immediately and means you unpack into your new closet with only what you actually wear. It's the highest-leverage decluttering you can do before a move.

Then make the pile disappear

The trap is letting the "donate" bags ride along to the new place "for now." Close the loop before you move: book a free pickup, set the bags out, and they're gone — no detour to a donation center during the most chaotic week of your year. We take items in any condition, so the whole pile leaves at once.

Local move? We pick up across Albuquerque — the Westside, the Heights, and the rest of the city. Just outside town, like Rio Rancho? Ask and we'll confirm.
