Tijeras & East Mountains
Free pickup in Tijeras & the East Mountains: tools, gear, electronics & wearable clothes
Clearing out in Tijeras & the East Mountains? The garage counts as much as the closet — tools, electronics, camping gear, bikes, instruments, and collectibles are what I most want a photo of. Clean, wearable clothes are welcome too. Free pickup by request, and I tell you where it all went.
Request a pickup
Fill out the short form with your address and the best day. Under a minute, no obligation.
Bag it up
Clothing, shoes, and linens in any bag or box — clean and wearable, please. (Truly worn out? It belongs in textile recycling, not the bag.)
Set it out
Leave it on the porch on pickup day. You don't need to be home.
We take it free
We collect it at no cost and give it a second life.
Before you ask — the honest limits. Abq Reclaimed is just me, and I run a few community projects at once. So free pickups are limited and entirely at my discretion — I can't take everything, and some weeks I can't do pickups at all. Send a photo and I'll tell you honestly whether I can fit it in; if I can't, I'll point you elsewhere. (Prefer to drop off? We can sometimes arrange that by appointment.) When I do collect, a few days later I send you a Reclaim Receipt telling you where your stuff went.
What I most want from Tijeras & the East Mountains garages, sheds and closets
Tools (hand, power and yard), electronics and old audio (working or not), camping and outdoor gear, bikes, sporting goods, musical instruments, small appliances, scrap metal, and vintage and collectible finds — records, cameras, sewing machines, calculators, old toys. That's the stuff a thrift bin undervalues and a junk hauler crushes; I photograph it, find it a real home, and send you a Reclaim Receipt. Doing a whole garage cleanout? Even better — send wide shots of the mess.
Clothing too — if it's wearable
Mountain-area pickup that saves you the trip
Life in the East Mountains means a little more distance from everything — including a donation drop-off. When the closets up in Tijeras, Cedar Crest, or Sandia Park need thinning out, Abq Reclaimed comes to you instead, collecting clothing, shoes, and linens right from your property at no cost.
To get started, request a pickup and pick your day. Leave your bags by the door or garage, and we grab them — contactless and free. Clean, wearable clothing gets rehomed — and truly worn-out textiles belong in textile recycling, not a pickup bag. Got gear, tools, or electronics in the garage too? Even better.
Less hauling, more mountain time
The canyon drive is beautiful, but not with a trunk full of donation bags. A pickup keeps your clothing in use and out of the landfill without you ever leaving the foothills.
