Set it out
On the day we agree on, leave small items on the porch or driveway — you don't need to be home for those. Heavy items, appliances and anything inside need someone there to give me access.

I pick it up at no cost and give it a second life through resale and reuse.

Weight allowances make every extra tool chest, treadmill, patio set, and box of electronics a cost. Selling it all takes weeks you don't have. To be clear: I'm a private, one-person Albuquerque business with no affiliation with Kirtland AFB, Sandia, or any relocation office. I pick up at your home or storage unit across Albuquerque (nearby towns case by case).
Living in base housing? I’m a private business and I don’t come on base. If you’re in base housing, stage the resale-worthy pile off base — a storage unit or a friend’s driveway — or text me about a drop-off by appointment.
Typical PCS pile I take
- Garage tools, workbench gear, yard equipment
- Gaming and computer gear, TVs, audio — working or not
- Camping, hunting, climbing and sports gear; bikes
- Small appliances and kitchen gear
- Vintage & quality furniture that won’t make weight — mid-century, antique, New Mexican carved, solid wood, old steel desks and cabinets (photo the whole piece and any maker’s mark; tell me the stairs)
- A washer, dryer or second fridge you’re not shipping — appliances by request (fridges case by case)
- Quality clothing and shoes — brand-name outdoor apparel, workwear, good leather boots, vintage and western wear — not worn-out pieces or everyday basics (those go to a charity drop-off)

How a clear-out works with me
- Send photos — wide shots of every room, garage, and closet. Don't sort first — but open the closets: good boots, coats and labels are worth a photo (quality clothing & shoes). I read every request personally.
- I reply honestly: what I can take free (the resale-worthy share), what a charity or the city will take, and what needs a paid hauler. You get a plan, not just a truck.
- Pickup by request, around my routes. I'm one person with a trailer and a forklift; I'll tell you what's realistic for your date rather than overpromise. Drop-off by text is the surest option for smaller loads.
- Afterward, a Reclaim Receipt: a note telling you where the things actually went.
Timing
Need it out of the way by a date? Movers, a closing, a lease-out, a unit that’s due — text me photos and the date. I come get the good stuff and tell you who takes the rest, and I’ll say honestly whether I can make your date, take part of it, or point you to a crew that can. Text me the photos and the date.
With orders in hand, two weeks before pack-out is comfortable; I'll be honest if a date is too tight for my routes, and drop-off by text is always the surest option for a carload.

Straight talk: Abq Reclaimed is one person, for-profit, and free because I resell what has a second life. I'm not a junk-removal crew and I don't pay cash — if something is genuinely valuable, sell it yourself and keep the money (my guide shows where). Pickups are by request and at my discretion — some weeks I can't do any, so text early — and they aren't tax-deductible.

No. I am a private one-person reuse business in Albuquerque with no affiliation with Kirtland, Sandia, or any relocation office. I pick up at homes and storage units across Albuquerque; I do not enter the base.

Do you pay for anything, like a PCS sale?
No — this is free removal, not a buy service. If something is clearly valuable, sell it yourself and keep the money. I am the free option for the resale-worthy middle that is not worth your last two weeks.
Is it tax-deductible?
No. Abq Reclaimed is a for-profit business, not a 501(c)(3). You get a Reclaim Receipt showing where your things went.
